The Tillicum Village Experience
On June 18th following the SLA conference in Seattle, we invited our Digital Library subscribers and colleagues to a unique dinner experience at Tillicum Village to show our appreciation for supporting the SPIE Digital Library.
Almost 100 of us were able to make it and enjoyed a lovely sunny ride over to Blake Island, an outstanding traditional Native American salmon meal, and an insightful theatrical presentation on the Pacific Northwest Native American culture. After a beautiful walk around the island, we were treated to fantastic sunset views on the boat ride back to the mainland.
